Yes, the header is just right. Yesterday I was in the Camp Nou watching a football game! FC Barcelona vs. Club Leon. It was Spain agains Mexico, Barcelona against León and my disinters in football against an experience I was totally carried away by. This is about a great experience and a match that ended 6:0 – for Barca (of course) !
Camp Nou Barcelona is actually the biggest stadium in Europe with a total capacity for 110.000 spectators. “Nou” actually means “New” but as you probably can guess, it is not that new anymore. It was built in 1957 and replaced the old stadium “Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona”. If you are interested in seeing the stadium, you can book the “Camp Nou Experience” tour for round about 20,00 € (scroll down for more infos). They will show you around, you will enter the players cabinet, talk about some historical facts and you can make some (stunning) pictures at a high of almost 50 meters. But sorry, the Camp Nou – tour doesn‘t compare to actually watching a real football game in it. My boyfriend bought two tickets for the game FC Barcelona against Club Leon. He knows that I am not obsessed with football but he was right when he assured me that I will like it. And I loved it!!! As we entered the stadium I was like WOW. When you go there you feel like back in 1960. The stadium looks so old and kind of wasted. This is so different then these modern stadium in Germany with maximal security and hundreds of police cars. The stairs never seemed to end. I was stepping and stepping and stepping and when I arrived at the top -it was breathtaking. That shit is almost 50 meter high! I was sitting in a top row, looking in excess of Barcelona and watching Messi, Neymar, biting-buddy Suarez and other world-famous football players playing. When the match begins and the sun slowly disappears behind the mountains, the whole stadium is trembling: “Barça, Barça, Barça!” I am also singing “El Cant de Barça” and enjoying this wonderful moment with my favourite boy.
