Randomly: The Born district

I love walking randomly through the city and discover new areas, shops, aromas and people. This is why I decided to check out a cool district here in Barcelona. The Born district is famous for it‘s artist, small streets full of fashion, bars & great nightlife. I went there in order to discover it by myself.

The Born neighborhood is the neighborhood of creativity and fashion. It is an endless maze of medieval alleys where you can easily loose yourself. It is a very charming neighborhood, one where you can take a break from rushy, crowded Barcelona. A break from all that people, the noise, the movement. I just want to linger around the idyllic streets and discover something beautiful. That is exactly what you can do in Born. With a labyrinth of streets and corners, there is so much to discover. You will find original boutiques, fancy bars and laid-back restaurants en más! You can make some sightseenig there and visit f.e. the Picasso museum. I am not that much into sightseeing, that‘s why I always focus on shopping and eating. For me, Born is the best place, to drink a coffee with friends, talk, relax and eat great tapas. (Oh, but Born can be a bit expensive) If you don‘t know in which bar you should go to or where to eat, check out my favorite Application Timeout Barcelona. However you can also follow my advice and check out these places:

Kiosko (best burgers in town/ always full of people/ american flair)
Xampanyaria Can Paixano (Champagneria)
Restaurante el Foro (argentine cuisine/ sometimes live musical or art performance)

Chocolate museum
Aurevoircindarella (beautiful shoe shop/ spanish fashion/ Jeffrey Campbell & more)
